What is A Health Coach?
An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is a guide and mentor who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make changes that improve your health and happiness. Together we’ll navigate the world of contradictory nutrition and health advice to explore what truly works for you, your body and your life.
What is your approach?
My coaching practice utilizes a holistic approach, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
What are some issues you deal with?
I work with clients on: diet changes, uncovering food intolerances, increasing energy, stress management, reducing cravings, weight-loss, improving the condition of their skin, better sleep, healthy cooking, regular exercise, reducing inflammation, untangling complicated relationships with food, and more.
how is this different from a diet?
I help my clients tune in to their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change. When you are equipped with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself, you will be able to adapt to any circumstance. Rather than relying on the latest magazine article, fad diet or wellness trend, we will work to make you the expert of your body, capable of making well-informed decisions about your health. As your coach, I will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback.
What do I mean by health goals?
Let’s define what you value most from your well-being. We’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be in your life . Together, we will create reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working toward.
